StayPass is an entry and exit management system designed for hostels and residential institutions. The system ensures student safety through a structured workflow of admin approvals, QR verification, and location confirmation.
Students request permission to exit, which is approved by admins. After exiting via QR scan, students click "Reached Home" to send their precise location to admin. Only after this confirmation is a return QR code generated for re-entry.
This Privacy Policy applies to the StayPass mobile application (hereby referred to as the "Application") for mobile devices, created by StayPass (hereby referred to as the "Service Provider"). This service is intended for use "AS IS."
The Application may collect certain information automatically and/or with user permission when you download and use it. This information is used solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Application's features and services.

The following data is accessed only with your explicit permission and is used strictly for enabling specific Application features. This data is not collected or stored in the background.
Important: Camera, photos, and location are used only for providing necessary app features and are not sold or shared with any third parties for advertising or profiling purposes. The Application does not collect this data in the background when the app is closed.
We use third-party service providers solely to monitor and analyze the use of our Application (e.g., for crash reporting and analytics). These third parties may have access to some of the automatically collected data listed in Section 1A only to perform their tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal or usage information to outside parties for marketing or advertising.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. Please use the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device or via the application marketplace.
The Service Provider will retain User-Provided and automatically collected data for as long as you use the Application and for a commercially reasonable time thereafter, generally no longer than 90 days after your last active use, unless a longer period is required by law.
If you would like your data deleted, please contact the Service Provider at staypass13@gmail.com, and it will be removed within a reasonable time, consistent with legal obligations.
The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from them. If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be deleted immediately.
The Service Provider takes reasonable and commercially acceptable physical, electronic, and procedural security safeguards to protect the information collected from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, please be aware that no security measure is 100% effective, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the bottom of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of these changes.
